Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a small bowl, mash the fresh raspberries until slightly chunky.
  3. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and cocoa powder until smooth. Stir in sugar, then add eggs one at a time until blended.
  4. Sift flour and baking powder into the mixture, folding gently until just combined.
  5. Add vanilla extract and mix gently.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan, layer half of the raspberry mixture on top, and swirl with a knife. Repeat with the remaining batter and raspberries.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out slightly fudgy. Cool before cutting.
