  • 1 cup strong brewed espresso (cooled)
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • 1/2 cup amaretto liqueur

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare espresso and let it cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and amaretto until smooth.
  3. Briefly dip ladyfingers in the cooled espresso-amaretto mixture.
  4. Layer soaked ladyfingers in a serving dish, then spread half of the mascarpone mix over them. Top with chopped cherries.
  5. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours (overnight preferred).
  7. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
