  • 8 oz fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Balsamic glaze (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until desired thickness is achieved.
  3. Toss the asparagus pieces with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl until evenly coated.
  4. Spread a thin layer of olive oil over the rolled-out dough. Evenly distribute mozzarella cheese on top followed by the seasoned asparagus.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
