  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for spice preference)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Rub olive oil on both sides of each chicken breast and coat generously with the spice blend.
  4. Preheat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  5. Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side or until an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) is reached.
  6. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides.
