Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until beef is browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Drain excess fat and stir in ketchup and mustard until well combined.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the tater tots at the bottom.
  5. Spread the beef mixture over the tater tots and sprinkle with half of the cheddar cheese.
  6. Add remaining tater tots on top and finish with the rest of the cheese.
  7. Bake for approximately 30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
