  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer to the baking dish.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and Italian seasoning; simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted. Pour the sauce over the chicken and sprinkle with additional cheese.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Serve immediately.
