Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground lamb or beef (or a mix)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 medium onion, grated
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping parsley and mincing garlic.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, parsley, garlic, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, oregano, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. With wet hands, shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
