  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Warm milk until lukewarm. Combine yeast and warm milk in a bowl; let sit until frothy (about 5 minutes).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and chai spice blend.
  3. Add pumpkin puree and melted butter to the yeast mixture; mix well before adding to dry ingredients to form dough.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place dough in a greased bowl; cover and let rise in a warm spot for about an hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread with softened butter, then sprinkle with brown sugar mixed with cinnamon and chai spices.
  7. Roll tightly into a log; slice into equal pieces about one inch thick.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
