  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese

  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the coffee mixture by brewing 1 cup of strong coffee or espresso and letting it cool slightly. Stir in the limoncello.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee mixture and layer them in your serving dish.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, then repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
