  • 1 wheel brie cheese (8 oz)
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry (thawed)
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (toasted)
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into 3-inch squares.
  3. Place small pieces of brie in the center of each square. Drizzle with maple syrup, then sprinkle with chopped pecans and fresh thyme.
  4. Fold each corner of the pastry over the filling and pinch to seal tightly.
  5. Arrange bites on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Cool slightly before serving warm, drizzled with extra maple syrup.
