  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup Rolo candies (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in chopped Rolo candies (and chocolate chips if using).
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown but centers remain soft.
  8. Allow cooling slightly before serving.
