Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box strawberry cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup strawberry frosting
  • 12 oz chocolate melts (white, milk, or dark)
  • 12 lollipop sticks
  • Sprinkles for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan and pour in the cake batter. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Allow the cake to cool completely on a wire rack.
  3. Crumble the cooled cake into fine pieces in a large bowl.
  4. Gradually mix in the strawberry frosting until you achieve a moldable consistency.
  5. Roll the mixture into balls about 1 inch in diameter and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Melt the chocolate melts according to package instructions. Dip one end of each lollipop stick into melted chocolate, then insert it into each cake ball.
  7. Fully coat each ball in melted chocolate and return them to the sheet; decorate with sprinkles if desired. Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes until firm.
