Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
  2. Form the ground beef into four patties, approximately 1 inch thick. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In the same skillet or on a grill, cook the patties for about 4 minutes on each side until they reach desired doneness. Add cheddar slices during the last minute to melt.
  4. In another pan, fry the eggs sunny-side up until whites are set and yolks remain runny.
  5. Assemble each burger on a bun starting with lettuce, tomato slices, the beef patty with melted cheese, crispy bacon, and top off with a fried egg.
