Marinate the Cod
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, and black pepper.
- Place the cod fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the fish is well-coated.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Bake the Cod
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove the marinated cod from the refrigerator and place the fillets in a baking dish.
