Broccoli Chicken Casserole

Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 2 cups chicken breast cooked and shredded
  • 3 cups broccoli florets steamed
For the Sauce
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
For the Topping
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted

Method
 

Prepare the Casserole
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, steamed broccoli, cream of chicken soup, milk, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Add the Topping
  1. In a separate bowl, mix the bread crumbs with melted butter until well coated.
  2. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the chicken and broccoli mixture in the baking dish.
Bake the Casserole
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
