Chicken Parmesan Baked Pasta

Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 3 cups penne pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
For the Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the pasta mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the top with mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
