Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 8 corn tortillas corn tortillas cut into triangles
  • 2 cups green salsa preferably homemade or store-bought
For the Topping
  • 1 cup crumble cheese like queso fresco or feta
  • 1 medium red onion sliced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream for drizzling
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 2 medium avocados sliced

Method
 

Prepare the Tortilla Chips
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the corn tortillas into triangles and spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Lightly spray or brush with oil and bake for about 10-12 minutes or until crispy and golden.
Make the Green Sauce
  1. In a saucepan, heat the green salsa over medium heat until warmed through.
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding salt or lime juice to enhance flavor.
Combine Chips and Sauce
  1. Once the tortilla chips are ready, remove them from the oven and place them in a large serving dish.
  2. Pour the warm green sauce over the chips, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Add Toppings
  1. Sprinkle the crumbled cheese, sliced red onion, and chopped cilantro over the sauced chips.
  2. Drizzle with sour cream and arrange sliced avocados on top.
Serve
  1. Serve immediately while the chips are crispy.
  2. Garnish with additional cilantro or lime wedges if desired.
