  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini peppers sliced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup fresh spinach optional, for garnish
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Method

Cooking the Chicken
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
  2. Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  2. Stir in the heavy cream and sliced pepperoncini. Allow the mixture to cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Combining
  1. Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese and mix until well combined.
  2. Let the mixture simmer for another 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Serving
  1. If using, stir in fresh spinach until wilted.
  2. Serve warm, garnished with additional pepperoncini or parmesan if desired.
