Ingredients
Method
- In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot (about 350°F or 175°C).
- While the oil is heating, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente, about 3-4 minutes.
- Once cooked, drain the tortellini and let them cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Carefully add the tortellini to the hot oil in batches, frying until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per batch.
- Using a slotted spoon, transfer the fried tortellini to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- While still hot, immediately toss the fried tortellini in the cheese mixture until well coated.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes
For extra flavor, you can add crushed red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture. Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying to achieve maximum crispiness.
