Ingredients
  

For the Cream
  • 1 cup heavy cream chilled
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Strawberries
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and halved
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint

Method
 

Prepare the Cream
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chilled heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract.
  2. Using an electric mixer, whip the mixture on medium speed until soft peaks form.
Prepare the Strawberries
  1. In a separate bowl, add the hulled and halved strawberries.
  2. If desired, sprinkle a little sugar over the strawberries and toss gently to coat.
Assemble the Dessert
  1. In serving dishes, layer the strawberries at the bottom.
  2. Spoon the whipped cream mixture generously over the strawberries.
  3. Repeat the layers if desired, finishing with the cream on top.
Garnish and Serve
  1. Sprinkle chopped fresh mint over the top for garnish.
  2. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for up to an hour before serving.
